Board
The Prince George Public Library is directed by a dedicated volunteer Board appointed by Prince George City Council. Meetings of the Prince George Public Library Board are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. These meetings are open to the public.

Anne George (Chair) Anne has lived in Prince George for 5 years. She is an assistant professor with UBC's Faculty of Medicine, based at UNBC's Northern Medical Program. She also has a university degree in librarianship from UBC and during the 1990s worked part-time in public libraries in the Lower Mainland. She serves on the Governance Committee and the Local History Committee.

Leslie Gilchrist (Vice Chair) Leslie is a Financial Advisor with a Certified Financial Planner designation. She is the owner of Gilchrist Financial Services. Besides being the board's representative with the Friends of the Library, she serves on the Fund Development Committee and the Nominations Committee.

Philip Mantler Philip is a Certified General Accountant employed as an auditor for the Canada Revenue Agency. Besides serving as the board's representative to the North Central Library Federation, he chairs the Governance Committee and the Communications and Advocacy Committee.

Shelley Stafford Shelley is a case manager with WorkSafeBC. She is the Chair of the Fund Development Committee.

Donovan Unruh Donovan has lived in Prince George for 20 years. He is a former employee of School District 57 where he was employed as a Teacher Assistant and now retired. He is a member of the Prince George Vintage Motorcycle Club. He is the chair of the Local History Committee and sits on the Governance Committee.

Councillor Dave Wilbur Councillor Dave Wilbur was elected to City Council in 2008. He currently sits as a director with the regional district and chairs the regional district hospital board. Before his election to council, Dave was on the boards of the Prince George Airport Authority, Community Futures and Hospice Prince George. He has been a lawyer in Prince George for more than 30 years. He sits on the Communications and Advocacy Committee.

Joanne Shaw Joanne is the Vice-Principal of Heather Park Elementary School in School District #57. She serves on the Communications and Advocacy Committee and the Nominations Committee.
