Support Your Library
We need your help. The Prince George Public Library gratefully welcomes donations from members of the community. You can support your library in four different ways:
1. Make A Financial Donation
Ways To Make A Financial Donation
Online: Make a secure, instant donation through PayPal (Check the right-hand side of the page). You do not need to have a PayPal account to make an online donation - just a major credit card. You may make a donation of any amount and will receive an official charitable tax receipt for donations over $20.
In Person: Pick up a donation card at either branch of the library, fill it out, and go to the checkout counter to make your donation.
See what our regular donation cards look like.
By Phone: Call us at 250-563-9251 ext 156 to use your Visa to make a financial donation.
By Mail: Please make your cheque payable to The Prince George Public Library and mail it to: The Prince George Public Library Bob Harkins Branch 887 Dominion Street Prince George, BC V2L 5L1
2. Make A Donation In Honour Of Someone
Your "Honour with Books" donation to the Prince George Public Library represents a continuing benefit for the entire community while helping you honour a loved one in a generous and special way. If you choose this donation option, we will send an honour with books card acknowledging your gift to the library in their honour. The minimum donation is $25; the amount of your donation will not be disclosed. You will receive a thank-you letter and a tax receipt for the donation. A distinctive bookplate with the name of the person being honoured will be placed in a new book for every $25 donated. Unfortunately, we will not be able place your bookplate in a specific book, but you may specify a particular area of the collection or branch, and we’ll do our best to acknowledge your donation in that area.
