Harry Potter and the Ministry of Magic
This Saturday, we're turning the Bob Harkins branch into the world of Harry Potter!
We'll be exploring how both the Ministry of Magic and the government of Canada work with UNBC professor Tracy Summerville, as well as doing potions class, herbology, and divination. When you're through at Hogwarts, you can also take a walk through Diagon Alley and make a stop at Honeydukes.
It's free and there's no registration, just come on out in your favorite costume and join in the wizarding whimsy! Saturday February 20th, 1-3pm. For kids 9-12 years old.
Put Prince George on the board!
NO! ON THE BOARD!
The newest Canadian edition of Monopoly is in the works, and the creators are asking Canadians which cities they would like to see on the board. So instead of stopping on Park Place or Indiana Avenue, why not Prince George?
Visit www.monopolyvote.ca and scroll down the list of Canadian cities to find Prince George and vote for us!
